ESG Promotion Platform in WB6

On March 20, 2025, Prishtina became the regional hub for dialogue on sustainability and responsible business, as the Regional ESG Conference brought together dozens of business leaders, policymakers, and ESG experts at Hotel International Prishtina.

Organized by the Chamber of Trade and Industry of Kosovo, with the support of the European Commission through the Western Balkans Fund, the conference focused on the growing importance of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) practices and the new standards introduced by the EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD).

Key Highlights from the conference:

• Experts shared strategies for sustainable business growth and long-term value creation.

• Participants were introduced to the core components and obligations of the CSRD, equipping them with the knowledge needed to navigate future compliance.

• The event served as a regional networking platform, connecting professionals from across the Western Balkans.

• Through interactive discussions and real-life case studies, attendees gained practical insights into how ESG can be effectively implemented across various sectors.

This impactful event marked an important milestone in advancing sustainability practices in the region, fostering stronger collaboration and knowledge exchange.
